The Faculty of Public Health and Allied Health Sciences successfully completed a study visit to Guangxi Medical University (GXMU) in Nanning, China, from November 17 to 21, 2025, as part of its commitment to advancing global academic partnerships and fostering innovation in public health and healthcare.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in high-level discussions and knowledge exchange with key institutions, including:
- School of Public Health, GXMU – Focused on curriculum development, joint research initiatives, and strategies for strengthening public health education.
- Nanning Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – Explored best practices in disease surveillance, epidemiological data management, and public health interventions.
- The First Affiliated Hospital of GXMU – Examined integrated healthcare systems, advanced medical technologies, and discussed future collaboration on knowledge exchange between Thai Traditional Medicine and Chinese Traditional Medicine, aiming to promote cultural and scientific integration in healthcare.
This strategic engagement represents a significant milestone in PBRI’s vision to become a “World Class University for Primary Care.” The visit opens new opportunities for joint programs, collaborative research projects, and innovative approaches to global health challenges.
